Casio has been busy, and so have we. The Casio watches we featured this month cover two retro digitals, a stripped-back Pro Trek, three limited collaborations, a pilot’s watch that repairs its own accuracy, and an obstacle course you play in a browser. The spread runs from $54 to somewhere near $860, which is a wide gap for a single brand.
Some of these you can order today from a US listing. Others need a Japan lottery entry, a proxy service, or a calendar reminder for a drop that closes in August. Here’s everything we featured this month, what it actually costs, and how hard it’ll be to get.
Casio Ran Two Playbooks at Once in This Month’s Coverage
The ten split cleanly down the middle. On one side are the mainline refreshes, color updates to platforms Casio already sells in volume, priced where they’ve always been priced. The A130, the ABL-100, and the GBA-950 all fall here, and none of them change a spec sheet.
On the other side are the scarcity plays. The Mother collaboration runs through a Japan lottery, the C2H4 edition sells only through C2H4, and the Midnight Organic 6900 asks 70 percent more than the base model for a color and a resin change. Casio has been running both lanes all year, and this month’s coverage caught both of them at once.
The outlier is the Gravitymaster, which is the only watch here built on new engineering rather than new paint. It’s also the only one that lands in the six-figure yen bracket. Everything else is a variation on something Casio already had.
1. Casio A130WE Green and Cream: The $54 Retro Digital That Only Changed Color
Casio opened Japan preorders for two new A130 colorways, the green A130WE-3A and the cream A130WE-9A, both at ¥8,800. The watch keeps its LC-analog layout, where a digital analog-style readout sits above a smaller LCD window, and the case measures 40.5 by 33.9 by 9 mm at 54 g. That’s small enough to wear like a vintage piece rather than a modern slab.
The feature list runs deeper than the price suggests. You get world time for 48 cities across 31 time zones, a four-city multi-time display, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five alarms, and an amber LED backlight, with accuracy rated at plus or minus 30 seconds a month and roughly three years of battery. 2. Casio Pro Trek PRJ-01: The Outdoor Watch That Dropped the Wrist Computer
The PRJ-01 is a three-hand analog Pro Trek with no Triple Sensor, no GPS, and no smartwatch layer. Casio kept solar charging, 100 meters of water resistance, mineral glass, and a bio-based resin build, then cut everything that turns an outdoor watch into an instrument panel. Run time is roughly five months on a full charge.
The size is the quiet win here. At 44.4 by 39.1 by 11.6 mm and 32 g, it’s noticeably smaller than the PRJ-B001 it follows, which measured 50.3 by 46 by 13.6 mm at 44 g. That finally puts a Pro Trek shape on wrists that couldn’t carry the older ones.
Low-light readability comes from a fully phosphorescent dial and luminous hands rather than a backlight, so it needs a light charge first. Three references are listed: PRJ-01-1JF, PRJ-01AE-7JR, and PRJ-01AE-8JR, with the AE versions adding a carabiner setup. Our PRJ-01 coverage walks through what Casio kept and what it cut.

3. G-SHOCK DW-5600MNC-8A2: A Square With a Magnetic Cloth Strap
This one takes the standard DW-5600 square and swaps the resin band for a stretchy polyester loop with a FIDLOCK magnetic mechanical clasp. Casio says the band stretches up to 2.7 times its length, and the clasp combines magnets with a mechanical lock so it opens one-handed. The colorway pairs a gray bezel and band with navy, orange, and yellow accents.
Underneath, it’s a familiar square: 48.9 by 42.8 by 13.4 mm, 53 g, 200-meter water resistance, Super Illuminator backlight, and a CR2016 rated at about five years. Worth knowing before you order is that Casio warns the watch contains magnets and shouldn’t sit near electronic implants such as pacemakers. 4. Casio ABL-100WE Navy and Grey: The Step-Counting Vintage Square Gets Quieter
The ABL-100 is the odd Casio Vintage square that adds Bluetooth time sync and a step counter without becoming a smartwatch. Two new references are expected this July, the navy ABL-100WE-2A and the grey ABL-100WE-7A, and neither touches the hardware.
Everything else carries over: a 41.6 by 37.9 by 8.2 mm chrome-plated resin case, stainless bracelet, 30-meter water resistance, LED backlight, five alarms, countdown timer, and a CR2016 rated around two years. There’s no heart rate sensor, no GPS, and no workout modes, which is the point rather than an oversight.
The current silver ABL100WE-1AVT and gold ABL100WEG-9AVT both list at $94.95 on Casio US today. The two new dials haven’t been confirmed by Casio US yet, so treat pricing and regional availability as open. Our ABL-100 color update has the full reference table.

5. C2H4 and G-SHOCK VOL.2: A Translucent GA-2100 Built Around Space Age Design
The Los Angeles label’s second G-SHOCK collaboration moves from last year’s GM-5600 to the GA-2100, and it pushes transparency across the whole exterior. The bezel and strap are molded from the same clear resin, while the dial gets its silver finish through vapor deposition over a brushed metallic base. Shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance carry over untouched.
The design story sits on the case back, engraved with the LAX Theme Building, the same landmark C2H4 used on the first edition. Packaging is part of the pitch too, with limited-edition boxing in metallic silver and futuristic blue. This one sells through C2H4 only, so it won’t appear on Amazon or in standard G-SHOCK retail. 6. Mother DW-5600MOT26-9 and Color Camo GA-V01: Two Very Different Takes on Nostalgia
We covered two G-SHOCK watches in the same week that share nothing except a nostalgia hook. The first is a third collaboration with the Mother game series, a sunflower-yellow DW-5600 marking the 20th anniversary of Mother 3. It runs ¥19,800, roughly $122, through a Japan lottery with applications opening July 17.
The second is louder and much easier to buy. The GA-V01CMG-4A in pink and the GA-V01CMG-6A in purple sit on the GA-V01 platform, the chunky analog-digital line with spherical glass and oversized hands over a full-screen LCD. Both carry shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance.
The spec that stands out on the camo pair is battery life. Casio says the GA-V01 runs roughly 10 years on a single CR2025, helped by a low-power design that still includes an alarm and a Super Illuminator double LED. Our Mother and Color Camo coverage compares the two paths.

7. G-SHOCK on Roblox: A Free Obstacle Course With a Hard August Deadline
Casio built a playable Roblox world called Challenge the Skate Obby: G-SHOCK, which went live at 3:00 a.m. UTC on July 15. The course models its hazards on the drop, vibration, and shock tests Casio runs in the lab, and the catalog carries avatar versions of the DW-5600 and GA-2100 in six colorways each, plus nine clothing items.
Finishing the course hands out one exclusive item per account, and beating the time limit adds a second. The whole thing closes at 11:59 p.m. UTC on August 2, and Casio hasn’t said whether any of it carries over. Roblox rates this obby 16+, so the target skews teen rather than child. 8. Casio GWR-B3000 Gravitymaster: The G-SHOCK That Fixes Its Own Accuracy
This is the only watch in the group built on new movement engineering. Casio’s Tough MVT.2 is a solar quartz movement with auto hand home position correction, so when the watch takes a hard hit it checks whether the hands were knocked out of alignment and snaps them back. It also detects strong magnetic fields, pauses the hands to stop them drifting, then resumes once the field clears.
The case is new too. Casio says it used AI-driven durability modeling to design a dual hollow case, mixing metal injection molded stainless steel with resin shock absorbers inside a Carbon Core Guard shell. It measures 56.7 by 47.3 by 14.1 mm at 102 g, with sapphire crystal and 200-meter water resistance.
On features, you get Tough Solar, Multi Band 6 radio control, Bluetooth app syncing, around 300 world time cities, and a flight log that records latitude, longitude, date, and time at the press of a button. Japanese pricing runs ¥110,000, ¥126,500, and ¥137,500 across the black, blue, and gray models, which converts to roughly $688 to $860 before US pricing is confirmed. 9. Casio DW6900MO26-4: An Orange 6900 at $170 Instead of $100
The orange DW6900MO26-4 is a limited collaboration with Midnight Organic, the Bay Area brand founded by rapper Larry June. It’s the same 6900 case at 53.2 by 50 by 18.7 mm and 67 g, with the same 200-meter water resistance and the same front-button layout the model has carried since 1995. What changed is the color and the bio-based resin used across case, bezel, and band.
The price is the argument. Casio US still lists the standard DW6900-1V at $99.95, so this asks about 70 percent more for a material and finish change on identical hardware. That tracks with where the 6900 went this year, alongside the $145 DW6900CMG-3 and the $190 Akachochin, as our MO26 analysis lays out.

10. Casio GBA-950 New Colorways: Origami Engineering for the Band
The GBA-950 closes the month with three additions, the orange-on-black GBA-950-1A4, the blue-on-white GBA-950-7A2, and the black-on-yellow-green GBA-950-9A3. They join the black, purple, and white models that opened the series in 2025, and the hardware is identical across all six.
The band is the reason to care. Casio developed it with OUTSENSE Inc., a Tokyo firm that applies paper-folding geometry to engineering problems, and says the base sections carry analyzed mountain and valley fold angles that pull outward as you tighten the strap. The result seats the case against the wrist instead of letting it rock when your arm swings.
As a training watch it handles time, distance, average pace, calories, auto lap, and a stopwatch holding 45 records, and it borrows your phone’s GPS only to calibrate distance. Specs run 48.5 by 43.9 by 16 mm at 53 g, 200-meter water resistance, module 5737, and a CR2025 rated around two years. How the Ten Stack Up on Price and Access
Five of these ship from US listings right now: the Color Camo GA-V01 pair at $210, the Midnight Organic 6900 at $170, the DW-5600MNC square at $161.95 through the Amazon Casio Store, the current ABL-100 models at $94.95, and the GBA-950 line at $165. Two more are Japan-first with no announced US date, the A130WE colors and the Pro Trek PRJ-01, and both convert to prices that make importing awkward rather than impossible.
The rest need a plan. The Mother DW-5600 runs through a lottery, the C2H4 VOL.2 sold through one storefront on July 17, the Gravitymaster hasn’t posted US pricing, and the Roblox world closes August 2. If any of those matter to you, the deadline is the spec worth tracking, not the case size.
