Why $170 Is the Real Story
The 6900 has always been the cheap way into the loudest G-SHOCK silhouette. Casio US still lists the DW6900-1V at $99.95, and it turns up discounted well below that at some retailers, so $170 puts this one in a different bracket entirely.
That gap is the year in miniature. G-SHOCK spent 2026 turning the 6900 from the $100 default into a $145 to $190 collab platform, and the MO26 is the clearest example. The Camo and DW6900CMG-3 arrived at $145 in June and the Akachochin DW-6900AKA-4 lists at $190, so $170 is no longer an outlier on this case.
