REVIEW – My wife is very creative and eco-conscious. Some time ago, she launched her own business, making eco-friendly candles, diffusers, Room Sprays, and more from all-natural products. Sh usually sets up at Fairs and other pop-up events, and on most occasions, the Host provides no power, or power is provided for an extra cost. The perfect fit would be a capable power station that can keep her Point of Sale equipment running, along with lighting, and charging accessories. Enter the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 power station.

Performance

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 portable power station offers great power and performance. The 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity that is capable of delivering up to 2,000W continuous output is enough to provide adequate power across all of the 10 versatile ports. The five AC outlets, dual 140W USB-C, USB-A, and a 120W car port, provide all the power we need for our use cases. However, I can positively say that this power station can likely power from refrigerators to medical devices like CPAP machines. Charging via AC is exceptionally fast, and there is also the option to charge with 600W solar (XT60i, 11-60V), which, while slower, ensures continuous power. Anker has stated that if used as a UPS, its 10ms UPS switchover ensures seamless backup for critical loads during outages. The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 portable power station offers nearly silent operation, and specifications indicate that it will retain 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles for a 10-year lifespan. The intuitive LCD screen and app control are nice enhancements that make the power station easy to use. My only gripe is that, much like many other power stations, a built-in LED light would be perfect in case of darkness, due to something like a power outage.
Overall, the build quality is amazing, and I expect it to provide our business with power for years to come.
