Inoviva Slushie Machine review – It’s going to be a great summer!

REVIEW – If there’s one thing that my wife and I enjoy on a daily basis during the summer months, it’s iced drinks, especially slushies. The Inoviva Slushie Machine review offer came along at the perfect time, and I could not resist giving it a try. Can it compare to commercial store machines? Read on to find out.

Design and features

The Inoviva Slushie Machine is a frozen drink maker with an 88-oz capacity. The innovative cooling technology does not require ice, ensuring that drinks will not be diluted, providing full-flavored drinks in just minutes.

The 5 preset smoothie modes enable you to create a delicious drink with just one button press. The optional thickness mode allows you to select your desired thickness easily.

Upon unpacking and setting up the Slushie Machine, I was really impressed by the high-quality quick start and instruction manual. It’s always nice to get a good manual. Assembly involves just sliding on the handle, the container, the stirring mechanism, and the drip tray.

The 88-oz capacity container features a lever to dispense drinks easily and quickly. The freezing process expands the liquid slightly, so you actually get a bit more volume of slushie than the liquid you start with. The 88-oz capacity is about one 2-liter soda or 5 cans of soda. The sliding cover on top made it easy to add the beverage.

The first thing I tried was cola. I was surprised that the machine created a slushy in just about 20 minutes. I did find that the drink was a bit more frozen (thicker) than I liked, but I remedied that by adding just a little bit of soda to thin it out.

I tried the lower setting for thickness, but the drink was still on the thicker side. This would be my only complaint, I wish the thickness could be turned down a bit more.

I found the machine to be extremely easy to clean. There’s a clean mode that helps with cleaning, but I found that just letting the machine warm up a bit made everything easy to just rinse and wipe clean. The locking lever for the container is easy to operate, and once unlocked, everything just slides apart.

There is a drip tray below the cooling cylinder that catches drips when disassembling the machine, and it removed for cleaning also. I found that to be a great feature. The cleaning brush made cleaning the spout easy.

The instructions mention that added beverages should have a sugar content of not less than 5%. For alcoholic beverages, the alcohol content should be between 2.8% and 16%.

The instruction book has drink recipes and instructions that are very easy to follow. Assembly was as simple as just popping on the serving handle and sliding the parts on and locking the lever. The instructions also covered very well the different drinks and their sugar/alcohol levels, and how suitable they are for making slushies.

I tried some 7-Up and some tea, mixed together. I should have added a bit more tea, but it was very good! I like that you can combine soda and juice for drink combinations that you just can’t get at the convenience store.

I also tried some iced coffee and a bit of my favorite creamer to make a frappe. It came out great and will be greatly appreciated this summer! One thing I really like is that my coffee drink does not get diluted with ice; I like my coffee strong!

The drip tray works great, but I was quite surprised that it didn’t really drip very much. I’ve been really impressed with the quality of this machine.

Final thoughts

Overall, I really like the Inoviva Slushie Machine, and my wife loves it too. My grandchildren love it as well. Despite a few things that I think could be better, the Inoviva Slushie Machine still gets my approval as a greatly desired kitchen gadget, and will definitely remain on my countertop and ready whenever I need it.
