REVIEW – With Summer right around the corner, we are ready for warmer weather and more time outdoors. We are in Indiana, so although our pool is officially open, this mama is not getting in until it is warmer outside. I’ve been looking for something comfy to sit on while the kids are in the pool and decided to try out the Yaheetech 3-Seat Outdoor Swing.

Design and features
The Yaheetech 3-Seat Outdoor Swing is large enough to fit 3 people with the capability of holding up to 748 lbs.
The adjustable sunshade canopy is great at providing shade or protecting against light rain. With a simple click or tightening or loosening the knobs, the angle can be adjusted 45°. This allows you to be protected as little or as much as you wish.
One of my favorite features of the Yaheetech swing is that beside each of the armrests attached to the frame is a foldable cupholder. Each cupholder table has small holes for two cups of bottles. You also have the ability to collapse the cupholder tables. The supports for the table can be disconnected from the frame and folded down/collapsed in against the frame of the swing. This allows you to fit the swing in tighter spots and keep them out of the way when not in use.
The included cushions for your Yaheetech swing are plush and comfortable. They do not have a way of tying or attaching to the swing, so they could potentially blow off or slide around, but I haven’t had an issue with that yet. While the fabric seems to be fairly water repellent, it does hold some water. So probably a better practice would be taking them off before heavy storms roll in from now on.
You can use your Yaheetech 3-Seat Outdoor Swing with the back up for a swing or laying flat as a bed. You can flatten the backrest by unlocking the seat’s side buckles. First loosen the support rod of the backrest, then put the support rod buckle down, and finally fix the support rod. As you can see in the video below, it is a simple and easy process.
Assembly
The instructions recommended having 2 people build the swing and estimated it to take about an hour to assemble. My husband decided to take the challenge and completed it by himself while I was out of town on business. It took him closer to an hour and a half to put together himself. One person can complete all the steps, but the steps when building the initial frame and adding the canopy 2 people would be more beneficial during assembly.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow. If you are comfortable with putting together any build-it-yourself furniture, building the Yaheetech 3-Seat Outdoor Swing should be relatively simple. The included hardware is nicely packaged in a drawstring bag with everything clearly labeled. The tools needed for assembly (wrench and Allen wrench) were also provided.
The only issues came when it was time for the canopy. The canopy seemed to be almost a hair too short to fit across the swing and connect via the screw knobs on each end. The canopy is attached and functional, but as you can see one side doesn’t quite align as it should. If the metal part of the canopy was just slightly longer, I think that would fix this issue.
Performance
The double “A” shape structure with reinforcers and powder-coated robust steel ensures the stability. Extra strong connectors, 2 heavy springs, and thick-wall tubes are adopted to jointly ensure the safety of your Yaheetech swing. Your swing also features anti-slip footpads to protect against unnecessary scratches. We haven’t had any issues with the swing in some not ideal weather. It has held up fine against heavy rains and winds.
Speaking of rain, the cushions as I mentioned seem to hold water when faced with heavy rains. After the last storm, you can see how much water pooled not only in the cushions, but soaked and pooled on the frame as well. I will definitely be throwing the cushions inside before heavy rains going forward. The material can hold a little water, but definitely not large amounts at a time.

What needs to be improved?
- Alignment issue on the canopy (see above)
- More color choices
- Way to attach cushions (ties)
Final thoughts
Although I haven’t had a lot of time with the Yaheetech 3-Seat Outdoor Swing, I already think it is a great addition poolside for us. Large enough for a few of us to sit or lay down, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, it is a great option if you are looking for an outdoor swing,
