The Cheerdots2 (model CHP04) is a desktop mouse that pulls apart. Put together, it’s a wireless touchpad mouse on your desk. Pop the controller out of its magnetic shell and the same device becomes a handheld presentation remote and air mouse, with voice recording built in.
Cheerdots sells two versions in Silver or Black: the Recording version for $79 and the AI Voice-to-Text version for $99 on its own store. Amazon has both for less right now: the Recording version is $65.55 after a 5% coupon, and the AI version is $89. For anyone who presents for a living, the pitch is simple: one small thing in your pocket instead of a mouse, a clicker and a recorder in the bag.

Two halves, two jobs

On the desk, the Cheerdots2 works as a mouse with a touchpad surface. Tap to click and slide a finger to scroll. Lift the controller out of the shell and it turns into a handheld controller that moves the cursor as you move your hand, with on-pad shortcuts for Backspace, Enter and right-click.
The split is the whole idea. The 108 x 68 x 35mm shell stays with the laptop, and the 60 x 41 x 18mm controller walks to the front of the room and slips into a pocket between meetings. The full mouse weighs about 70 grams, charges over USB-C, and Cheerdots says a full charge lasts 20-plus days. It works with Mac and Windows.
The pocket half runs the presentation

In your hand, the controller covers the standard presenter jobs. Move forward and back through slides, open files and switch apps with handheld cursor control, or turn on the on-screen spotlight to put one part of a slide in focus. That covers the meeting room, the classroom and the lecture hall without a separate clicker, and since it’s the same device you were mousing with, there’s no second remote to keep charged.
The recording is the real pitch

Both versions record audio. The AI Voice-to-Text version goes further: put the cursor in a text field, pick up the controller and speak, and your words land as editable text in whatever app is open, from an email to a document to an AI chat. The same version turns meeting recordings into notes. Cheerdots doesn’t charge a subscription for any of it, which is the real difference from phone apps that bill monthly for the same trick.
Which version to get
The step from Recording to AI Voice-to-Text buys dictation and meeting notes, and it’s $23.45 more at Amazon’s current prices. The hardware, the presenter features and the recorder are the same either way. Presenters who only need the clicker and the recorder can stop at the $65.55 Recording version. Anyone who talks to AI assistants all day should get the AI version.
