CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Have you seen those slick spin closures on really expensive athletic shoes?  The ones where you slip in your for, spin a dial, snap it down, and *boom* – your kicks are perfect!  Pull up on the knob and *boom* – your tennies are loose and ready to slip off.  The problem with those is that they only come on pricey footwear that you’re just going to sweat up anyway.

ONECL has started a new campaign on Kickstarter to solve that problem. No more untied shoes.  Just step in, twist, and click!

The system is good for all types of athletic shoes.

They plan to release it in four different colors to meet your athletic style needs.

The system comes with clip-in guides that you attach to each side of your shoes after you remove the laces.  Then, you add the dial and slide the attached coated wire in the guides and you’re good to twist, click, and go!

They’ve raised nearly $49,000, or nearly ten times their $5,000 goal. The Kickstarter campaign ends on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM EDT.  Rewards start at $24 for a kit for one pair of shoes with discounts available for multi-packs.  They expect to start shipping units to backers in August 2023.

  2. I have a pair of workboots that have a similar system built into them. I love it, and now that I can add this to my other shoes? I’m sold.
