NEWS – I would guess that almost everyone reading this article owns at least one utility knife that is similar to the one shown in the image above. Your utility knife might look like the one above from Toughbuilt, but can yours switch from a knife to a scraper by swiveling the blade around so that the entire cutting edge is exposed? I bet it can’t, but now that you’ve seen that it’s a possibility, I bet you want one don’t you? All you have to do is head over to Lowes where you can buy one for less than $18.

That’s actually a really good idea! I have those cheapo mini-scrapers which are basically a piece of plastic that wraps around a razorblade. Does the trick but not the most convenient thing if you need a little extra leverage since you have to hold it between thumb an forefinger. I might have to look at one of these for the extra length and grip.
I just read the reviews on Lowes. This requires proprietary and expensive blades, it will not take any old blade. That’s a bit of a bummer.
Ross, argh… really? What the heck? The pictures look like a standard blade.
