REVIEW – Wireless chargers come in all shapes and sizes. Finding the best one for you comes down to what you need to charge and where you’ll be using the charger. Earlier this year I reviewed Mophie’s 4-in-1 Wireless Charging Mat which was a perfect solution for charging up to 5 devices and probably worked best for leaving devices alone while they charge. Mophie’s back with their Wireless Charging Stand+ which is a better all around fit for almost anyone, regardless of where you plan on using it.
What is it?
The Wireless Charging Stand+ is a Qi compatible charger that offers up an angled charging stand, a flat charging pad and an additional USB-A port that can be used for a 3rd device. Mophie has made sure all three can charge simultaneously by including a 15w power adapter.

Design and features
The dark grey fabric adds class and texture to a clean looking design. The left side has a depressed well to locate earbud cases easily but will also charge phones.
The angled stand supports charging in either portrait or landscape modes. The Apple Watch adapter can move to a central position if you need to charge a second phone. The LEDs on the front of the base help to confirm devices are charging.
A stable base keeps the Stand+ from moving around.
Setup
There’s a small bit of assembly required to get the Stand+ up and running.
Pull the protective strip off the TPU bumper on the stand.
Insert the stand into the base until you hear/feel it click.
If you plan on charging an Apple Watch, provide your own charger and snap it into the adapter.
There are two keyed positions on the back of the base for the Watch adapter. It helps to use the short 0.3m travel cable that Apple sells if you have one as it keeps the cable clutter to a minimum. The left side works well if you’ll only be charging smaller devices like wireless earbud cases. Choose the right side if you plan on charging a second phone (or phone sized device). Pick your spot, slide the adapter up into place and connect the Watch charger to the USB-A port.
If you don’t have an apple watch you can connect any other USB-A chargeable device to the port. Just keep in mind that the max output across all three devices is 15w. Lastly you’ll want to connect the wall charger to the back of the Charge +.
Performance
Similar to what I found with the 4-in-1 Wireless Charging Mat, this fabric covered stand is very easy to use and works as it should. There are a few differences which in my opinion make this a more user friendly charger.
The angled stand is great for either bedside or desk use as it holds your phone at a perfect angle. The stand is also designed to support charging in landscape mode which is a great feature, especially if you like to stream video.
Similar to the big mat, the left size has a depressed well for common earbud charging cases which makes finding the sweet spot as easy as it can be. Aligning a phone is equally easy due to the geometry of the base and the large, front-facing LEDs that light up when a device starts charging. Those same LEDs time out after ~20 seconds keeping this stand bedside friendly.
The Charging Stand+ has been great throughout my review. I’ve ended up using it mostly at my desk mainly because the angled portrait view keeps my phone in view and it’s a home base for my AirPods and topping off my Watch after sleep-tracking.

Final thoughts
Mophie’s Wireless Charging Stand+ hits a sweet spot of being a portrait charging stand that can also charge your phone in landscape, and charge a second phone or earbuds and a 3rd USB device or Apple Watch. There’s a number of competitors that will charge 3 specific devices, but the versatility here of a more universal approach to which devices makes this a great option. The fact that it looks good on your desk is pure icing.
