This EDC pen is a lot cooler than a Fisher Space Pen

NEWS – What’s your favorite EDC pen? Is it the popular Fisher Space Pen? That pen is cool, but you should also take a look at the Techliner Super Shorty which is a collaboration of CRKT and Mike Bond of Ti2 Design. I reviewed the original Ti2 Design Techliner pen and still consider it a favorite due to its minimalistic style and fun to fidget with a magnetic cap. The Super Shorty is a 4.22 inch mini version of the one I reviewed, but it keeps the same look and style with a pocket clip, 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with an anodized finish in cool blue, and that great magnetic cap that posts on the back of the pen so you don’t lose it. The Super Shorty comes with a black SCHMIDT® MegaLine 4889 M refill that is designed just like the pressurized Fisher pen refills, to write anywhere. Head over to CRKT to buy this EDC pen for $54.99 or $44.97 from Amazon.

  2. This pen goes against most everything I look for in a pen. It is not a clicky, it is a little thicker than I like, can take only one size refill, does not always start writing, the refill tip moves around when writing, and the magnetic cap seems to attract everything. So, which pen do I usually pick from the half dozen or so that I have available when I get dressed in the morning, this CRTK Mini Ti2. It is a fun pen to carry and use.
