Want to feel old? Rubik’s Cube is 40!

NEWS –  Yes, you read that right – everyone’s favorite rotating cube is 40 years old. During the COVID19 lockdown, Rubik’s Cube’s popularity has surged, just in time for the invention’s 40th anniversary of becoming a global phenomenon.

Monday, July 13, 2020, the cube’s creator, Professor Ernő Rubik celebrates his 76th birthday.  Cube fans all over the world will be joining in that celebration. On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, a new documentary called Speedcubers airs on Netflix.  All-in-all, 2020 is a big year for Rubik’s Cube.
