NEWS – In 2018 Google launched its Podcasts app on Android and as a web app. Starting this week, Google is pushing out an update to make it easier for users to find podcasts in the new Explore tab as well as through personal recommendations.
The Explore tab includes a For You section with personal recommendations based on previous shows the user has listened to and can be customized to personal taste. Other sections include comedy, news, culture, sports, business, science, and more. The Home and Activity tabs give access to current episodes, listening history, downloads, and other settings. Subscriptions and progress can be synced across devices through a Google account.
Updates are coming to Android and web versions, as well as the new iOS app. Use the web version or download the Android or iOS apps for free at https://podcasts.google.com.
