CROWDFUNDING NEWS – This week I’m bringing you two Kickstarter crowdfunding campaigns and two campaigns from Indiegogo. et’s check them out.

HiiDii Glasses: Wearable Hands-Free Control for Your Devices

What is it?

HiiDii Glasses are a wearable controller for computers, tablets, and smartphones.

Why do I like it?

I like the HiiDii Glasses because it’s a unique hands-free controller for your computer and mobile devices that you control just by blinking your eyes and moving your head. You might think that a device like this one might mistake natural blinking for clicks. Luckily they designed a calibration software routine for HiiDii to know the difference between an active blink and a natural blink.

After the HiiDii Glasses campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in March 2020. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

Legion Solar 4 – Permission Free Energy & Storage

What is it?

Legion Solar 4 is a plug and play solar panel with artificial intelligence (AI) for 3x faster ROI.

Why do I like it?

I like the Legion Solar 4 system because it’s a solar panel system that has been designed so that anyone can install it without a lot of technical know-how and skills. But the really cool part is that you don’t need permission from your electric company to set up the system in your home and it’s much less expensive than a traditional solar panel system.

The Legion Solar 4 campaign already ended a successful Kickstarter campaign and now they are offering more orders on Indiegogo. You can pre-order a Legion Solar 4 starting at $599. Rewards are estimated to start shipping in January 2020. Visit their Indiegogo page for all the details.

Ezl – Plinth smartphone stand

What is it?

The Ezl Plinth is a thin phone stand/grip/mount.

Why do I like it?

I like the Ezl Plinth because it’s thin (only 2mm thick) and you can still charge your phone wirelessly with the Ezl installed on the back of the phone. I also like that it will be available in a variety of colors and you can use it as a holder as well as a stand.

The Plinth campaign ends on 11/09/19 they have met their funding goal of $1,896. You can pre-order a Plinth starting at $8. After the Plinth campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in November 2019. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

Shine Bathroom Makes Your Toilet Self-Cleaning

What is it?

Shine is an automated toilet cleaner that does the job so you don’t have to.

Why do I like it?

I like the Shine toilet cleaner because it’s like a robot vacuum but for your toilet. It electrolyzes the water to clean the inside of your toilet bowl as effectively as using bleach but without the harsh chemicals. The device can also detect water leaks or overflows and alert you. Oh, it’s also controllable via Alexa.

  2. “The Shine campaign ends on 11/01/19 they are working towards their funding goal of $20,000. You can pre-order a Shine starting at $99. After the X campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in February 2019. Visit their Indiegogo page for all the details.” I believe shipping starts in 2020, not 2019. 🙂

  3. I’m seriously considering getting a few of these, and found your page. I am trying to find out from them if a subscription, of sorts, is required. They mention “Shine Unlimited”. I’ve sent the a PM. It would be a great product if it can be purchased w/o any monthly fees. Thanks for your gadget site!

  4. I was excited about the Shine system and ordered it in 2020 with a January 2021 ship target. That slipped to March, and now that it is March, has slipped to AUGUST – yes, August. So, I will be canceling my order as I am pretty sure it is never coming.
