FitBit, Misfit and Jawbone are popular activity trackers for humans, but what about our dogs? Shouldn’t we know how active they are too? Activity trackers for pets isn’t something new, but the WonderWoof BowTie is the cutest one I’ve seen so far. This activity sensor is shaped just like a bowtie and attaches to your dog’s collar to track their daily activity based on their breed, age and size. Using a mobile app on your Android or iOS device, you’ll be able to tell if Fido is sleeping, running or walking in real time. The BowTie is waterproof, uses Bluetooth for connectivity and features a rechargeable battery that has to be charged about once a week. The app not only tells you how active your pet has been, but it can also be used to set a perimeter and send alerts if your dog goes out of range. The WonderWoof BowTie comes in several colors and is priced at $95. A cat version called the WonderMeow will be available in the fall. You can find more info and order one from WonderWoof or Amazon.
