Preparedness seems to be on the minds and hearts of an increasing number of folks these days. Whether you are a “prepper” getting ready for the doomsday scenario, a back-country hiker or a suburban warrior, an entire industry has been built around survival and preparedness. It’s not always easy to carry survival gear with us, but Alpenlore has developed a line of products to help with this task. Billed as “The most compact rescue adventure belt in the world,” their AlpenLITE Belt System (the “Hyper Belt”) is built around a ProWEB Core with a ProCORD Outer-Shell and choice of either polymer or Cobra buckle. Each belt also TrangleRing loop, a Survival Kit (3 matches, surgical blade, 2 fish hooks & knots guide) a Pocket Guide Book and Mini Ferro Rod for fire starting. Customizable in a variety of colors and patterns, pricing is $69.99 for belts with polymer buckle, $84.99 for belts with Cobra buckle. What’s holding you up? Head over to Alpenlore and check them out.

  2. I own one of the belts and this belt is built like a tank!!!! At first glance it looks similar to anordinary paracord belt. But that’s where the similarities end. The Alpenlore belt uses PROcord alpine paracord which is twice as strong as regular 550 military paracord. Next the survival kit, which is small, actually packs quite a bit of useful survival gear. Couple that with the Cobta buckle , which as a minimum tensile strength rating of 200lbs, you have a belt that is stylish and silently there if and when you need it.
