Bellroy has just introduced their first phone case for the iPhone 6. Their are actually two models of this case: one to hold the phone plus one daily-use card and one to hold three cards. The cases can also hold some cash and even a spare SIM card. The case is made from flexible polycarbonate for strength and wrapped in full-grain leather so it looks and feels great; a microfiber lining cushions the iPhone 6. The cash you hide between the phone and case, but the cards fit into a pocket on the back; you remove the cards with a thumb swipe. The cases are available in black, blue steel, tamarillo, or java. The Phone Case – 1 Card is $54.95; the Phone Case – 3 Card is $64.95. Both cases are available now from Bellroy.

As if we haven’t given thieves enough reason to steal your cellphone. Or if you lose your cellphone, you will be able to complain about losing other things as well. And with Apple Pay, do you really need to be carrying around additional cards or cash?
I think this is a good consideration still for keeping work passes handy – I find they are not always picked up if you keep them in your wallet and I feign from attaching it to a lanyard, keychain etc. Keeping an extra bill within the interior seems like an afterthought – while I love the idea of Apple Pay unfortunately not all stores are as accepting (especially in Australia!).
I do have a question though – is the underside of the case flat when placed on a table? Seems like there is a ridge formed to hold the card(s).
