Here at The Gadgeteer we have seen and reviewed more than our fair share of portable backup batteries for smartphones and other USB devices. But we’ve never seen a smartphone sized backup battery that can also be used to jump start a car. That’s right, the Junopower JUMPR is a 7 ounce 5.5” x 3” x .6” sized backup battery that can provide 12 Volts of power at peak 300 Amps ensuring that almost all 4-Cylinder and 6-Cylinder engines (possibly some 4.8+ Liter automobiles as well) can be restarted from a dead car battery in minutes. The JUMPR is a 6,000 mAh lithium polymer battery that also features 5V 2.1A USB output for power hungry mobile devices. But wait, there’s more! The JUMPR also has a built-in flashlight. Seems like a very handy device to keep in your gear bag for one of those just-in-case moments.
The JUMPR will retail for $89.99 MSRP; but from now until May 1, 2014 users will be able to pre-order the battery for $69.99 at JunoPower.com

Gonna go out on a limb here – won’t work in Canada when it’s 40 below…
i’m guessing that this would also work with a motorcycle battery???
@joel My guess would be yes… but I would suggest contacting JunoPower and asking them to make sure. I wouldn’t want you to blow up the battery!
@ Gareth
If it was kept in the car at the said -40, no, Li-ion batteries don’t do well at that temperature. If you bring it from the house, will do just fine.
