We feature a lot of leather cases at The Gadgeteer. Some of them are rustic, some of them are more polished. These heirloom-quality cases from Tusting are made in England by Tusting of Buckinghamshire, creator of fine leather goods since 1875, are of the “more polished” variety. Levenger says “these rich Tusting leathers mellow with age, acquiring that comfortably worn-in look, as if you’ve owned them forever. Some variations may occur in coloring, as the leather is finished by hand using an age-old process.” Levenger offers a variety of bags from Tusting. They have the Clipper ($399, upper left), a saddlebag-style case that can hold a 15″ laptop; the Briefbag with Laptop Sleeve ($569, upper right) which accommodates most 15″ laptops and still has room for files and papers; and the Explorer in medium ($499) or large ($599) which will hold at least a week’s worth of clothes for travel. Levenger also has a couple of other bags from Tustings and an extra-long leather strap, should you need one longer than the provided strap.
