The Kickstarter project for Nock Co. pen and notebook cases has 10 days left to go and is already 1000% over their initial goal of $5000. Who knew that handmade (in Georgia, USA) pen cases could be so popular? Nock Co. which is comprised of Brad Dowdy (aka the Pen Addict) and Jeffrey Bruckwicki are offering a selection of cases that will hold pens, small notebooks like Field Notes, and cases that hold both pens and notebooks. The cases are made of 1000D nylon and feature a simple and effective design that really appeals to me. Something else really appeals to me as well, and it’s what you get for your pledge money. Pledges start at $15, which reserves two of the zippered pen cases like you see in the image on the left. A $75 pledge will reserve all seven cases, which is a great value.

  2. I saw these a while back. I still haven’t become a backer, but I’m getting close. Can’t decide which one(s) I want! I like the idea of their roll-out “Brasstown” design—a compact case that keeps your writing implements from banging into each other. They have a few other nice-looking designs that I like, too.

  3. I took the plunge. Came in under the wire and ordered the Brasstown about 10 minutes ago. I like that it protects the pens rather than them just rattling against each other.
