You probably have a few business cards in your wallet that you hand out when the opportunity presents itself. Plain old printed cards may get the job done, but if you want to impress people, check out the latest in business card technology from TapMyBiz. These cards have an embedded Mifare 1K Classic NFC (Near Field Communication) chip and one tap from an NFC enabled phone will transfer all your important contact info including your name, address, 5 phone numbers, 2 email addresses, 3 URL, Skype, LinkedIn and Facebook account name into that phone. TapMyBiz NFC business cards look like traditional double sided business cards but they act like high tech gadgets. You can design your own cards with your own logo or use one of the many templates available from the TapMyBiz website. You can also include a QR code that people can use if they don’t have an NFC capable phone. The price for these cards is pretty steep… 40 cards with an NFC tag on the front, back or both sides are priced at € 60.00, up to 1000 cards for € 990.00 (that’s $79 – $1305).

  2. Depends on who you are what your business is. I know people who will spend up to 5$ a card because it’s worth for them. Some jobs demand to be on top notch. Ask bloggers, designers, lawyers, managers, people in PR… If you’re selling flowers, you won’t need this kind of business card.
