The Thai Pad from Levenger serves a lot of purposes. You can use it to hold books or eBook readers, or you can use it as a tablet stand while you surf, play games, read, or watch movies. The flat wrist rest is big enough to hold many Bluetooth keyboards, as you can see in the picture, so it can be used as a typing stand for your lap. The Thai Pad is made of 100% Thai silk, and it’s available in black/silver, crimson/cream, or sea green/sky. Levenger will “make a donation, based on sales of the Thai Pad, to the International Reading Association’s literacy programs in Thailand, so that hands such as those that crafted this bookrest can now also hold books.” The Thai Pad is normally $49, but it will be only $29 if you purchase by this Sunday (Dec 23, 2012) and enter the code you’ll find on the Thai Pad page when you checkout.

Love the pun on the name!
I want a much larger one to lay on.
@VernC I may be wrong, but I think the Thai Pad was around for books even before there was an iPad. Or were you thinking of Pad Thai? 😉
@Drew Baker They do look comfy, don’t they? Though I’d want the raised pillow to be a little more rounded for extra neck comfort.
