ZAGGfolio iPad 2 Folio Case with Keyboard

ZAGG has a new keyboard case for iPad 2.  The exterior of the ZAGGfolio case has a carbon fiber design and the interior is a soft microfiber.  The Bluetooth keyboard has its own 510mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that ZAGG says provides a couple of weeks of normal usage between charges.  The case and keyboard work together to make a stand that can hold the iPad 2 in either horizontal or vertical orientation.  You can even remove the keyboard from the case and use it with the iPad 2.  The ZAGGfolio will cost $99.99 and is available for pre-order.

I recently purchased the ZaggFolio and found it to be a great buy. It does however have a couple of downsides.

The case doesn’t actually latch closed, it wont hook. Also, the charge port for the keyboard is hidden by the case so you have to pull the case out when its time to charge.

I do like the fact that you can take the ipad and case out if you wish to make things more versatile. All of the cutouts for the ipad ports are also fit perfectly.

Overall its a great buy with a few improvements needed.

I agree. The latch issue should have been dealt with before the product was released. Apart from this, the ZAGGfolio is still one of the best keyboard folios out there.

I agree with above reviews. Latch is sub-par, but does work sufficiently. They SHOULD have created a cutout in the case to allow charging without removing the keyboard from the case. That is the only thing holding me back from recommending for mass deployment in my enterprise.
