You probably have seen Julie’s review of the Oberon Design Kindle covers, so you know how gorgeous and well-made these leather covers are. Oberon Design has just announced their covers for iPad, and they are just as beautiful and thoughtfully-designed as I expected they would be. They are available in a variety of designs and colors. The iPad is held in by leather and elastic cords at the corner. They can be used as a horizontal or vertical stand using a cord and leather tab system, and they can elevate the iPad for typing much like the case from Apple. These are made of thick leather, and they add 15 oz of weight to the iPad. The Oberon Design iPad Cover is $130. (You can watch a video to see just how protective the case is, how to install it, and how to use the leather-and-cord stand system.)
