It can be hard to give someone precise directions to find your house. If you’re waiting for medical assistance, you want to be sure the responders don’t have to waste time driving around trying to find you. The Westek HomeFinder flashing light controller simply screws into your outdoor light fixture, and it can flash your lights for twenty minutes to make your house easily found. When you need a regular outdoor light, simply flip the light switch on as normal. When you need house identification, flick the switch twice to start the flashing. (You can stop the flashing by turning off the switch.) You can use up to a 100-watt light with the HomeFinder flashing controller. Amazon.com has the HomeFinder controller for $10.91.

When I worked at a local hardware store years ago, we offered something like this and they worked great. Customers who bought it said it was really nice to be able to tell people you can identify our house at night by the flashing porch light.
I would imagine that it could also be fun on Halloween!
I totally need one of these, on a tall pole on my roof. We live on a hill, overlooking the city, but people still can’t find our house! We often have to guide them here on the cell phone. K-Mart is going out of business here. Maybe I can scam one of their Blue Light Specials light!
