Today at PMA 2010 (Photo Marketing Association), Joby announced two new products. The Gorillapod Magnetic and the Ballhead X camera mounts. These products continue the tradition of their popular flexible camera tripod, but add a few new features. The Gorillapod Magnetic contains powerful magnets in its feet, allowing it to be anchored to any magnetic surface. The Ballhead X is for the Gorillapod Focus, a new addition to Joby’s Professional Line of photographic equipment. The Ballhead X supports 11.1lbs (5kg) and allows the photographer to easily and fluidly pan, tilt, and rotate his camera. The Ballhead X can be purchased separately or in a bundle with the Gorillapod Focus. The Gorillapod Magnetic and Ballhead X will be available in April. Prices are still unknown at this time.

Definitely cool. I’ll take three, please.
When I first saw the Gorillatorch I was hoping they would add the magnets to the Gorillapod. Just ordered the Gorillapod Magnetic from Joby’s website.
Just when you think the Gorillapod couldn’t get any better, they go and do this! I’ll have to get one!
