You can receive and record local HDTV broadcasts on your PC using the USB digital tuner from Hammacher Schlemmer. It comes with an antenna, and the ATSC tuner (the same as the ones used in full-sized HD televisions) supports up to 1920 X 1080 resolution. You can also receive and record FM stations. The included software allows you to schedule and record programming, and it works with PCs running Windows XP SP2, Vista, and Windows 7 (32-bit versions only). The HDTV receiver is $79.95.

No review? Just running the press release this time?
@Burzmali We post news items and reviews on The Gadgeteer. You’ll know it’s a review if the title has the word “Review” at the end 🙂
I was like great I am going to buy one. Its annoying having a tv and Computer LCD in my room, considering the LCD is just as big, I am going to throw the space wasting tv in the bin.
Who really needs a TV and LCD in the same room after all?
Then I realised it said 32 bit versions only……
This is not a press release. I found this item while looking at Hammacher Schlemmer and wrote a news article about it because I thought Gadgeteer readers might be interested.
@Burzmali We often post short, non-review news items about gadgets which our writers come across and find interesting. In our previous site design this was a sideblog but now these are in the News and Spotlight Gadgets categories so that our readers can discuss them. Sometimes this results in a future review, other times it’s just an excuse to say “hey, check this out, it’s cool/weird/interesting/etc.”.
The headline should say The HDTV Receiver for your Computer like ever other product in the HamSchlem catalog.
