I think the android will be my next OS. I am struggling between the Droid and the Eris. Question for anyone: in real life, how much slower will the Eris be vs. the Droid. Assuming the Eris gets updated to 1.6 or 1.7 and eventually 2.0, will it *really* be that much slower than the Droid. Any help is appreciated and I thank you in advance.
For what, a $100 difference? I think the Droid is worth it. Faster, better screen, keyboard, still thin – What’s the Eris go going for it besides it looks a bit nicer?

Did you look at the video? The Sense UI is one thing it has going for it, and like it or not, style and size ARE features.
I think it is a very hard call.
