Today Sennheiser announced a number of new headphones and headsets, both through its Sennheiser Electronics brand and through its Sennheiser Communications division. Sennheiser Communications has posted a press release detailing all of their new products, but here are some highlights…
- MM 100 – a lightweight behind-the-neck stereo bluetooth headset that can serve double-duty taking calls or listening to music on-the-go
- MM 80 – wired in-ear headphones designed for use with iPhones and iPods, complete with inline controls
Under their regular brand, Sennheiser have announced a trio of wireless headphones for use with home theater systems. The RS 160, RS 170 and RS 180 are the next evolution in Sennheiser’s home wireless headphones, utilizing Kleer transmission technology, which provides a compression-free signal that is higher-fidelity than either Bluetooth or standard compressed RF.
No prices have been announced, but availability has: the MM 80 and the RS series headphones will be available in October, with the rest becoming available this month.
