Star6 iPhone Sound Mixer App Review

There is a new iPhone app by Agile Partners that has hit the iTunes store and it’s called Star6. Star6 is a program that let’s you act like a DJ/musician. You can sample songs,  add some rhythms and change things like pitch and speed simply by tilting your iPhone forward and back.

You should know that I’m not a teenager or even a young adult but playing with the different controls was fun. I can’t imagine using it in public and rocking back and forth like I’m suffering from a seizure but in the safety and comfort of my own home or maybe even with friends it might be fun.

It comes with lots of free samples and you can download more from the website. Probably one of the best features for all of you up and coming musicians is the ability to record your masterpiece and upload it to the site. I won’t be quitting my day job but if you like music and have some rockin rhythm I think you’ll enjoy Star6.
