We got back from the UK on Saturday, and other than playing catch-up with
almost two weeks worth of ranch business, we are none the worse for wear. While there, we managed to cram in some hideously touristy things like a trip to the
Edinburgh Dungeon.

One of the fashion trends we noticed in the UK were all of the jeans with
patches and embroidery. Since these jeans start at $200 and go up from there,
Sarah and I decided to make our own. We took a trip to Hobby Lobby and parked
ourselves on the couch today – I managed to embroider a pair with bamboo plants
in strategic places, though Julie says they look like palm trees. I guess I need
to embroider a baby panda sitting under one so that it will be more in
context…either that or a hula girl.

Hey, I am pretty proud of this. I haven’t done anything crafty in ages, and I
can easily justify spending the money I saved on some new gadget! ;0)
