…and I quote: “One of the more exciting demonstrations at WinHEC was a “concept” prototype showcased by Bill Gates during his keynote address. As you can see, this seven-inch ultraportable tablet PC is paper-thin. According to Gates, this type of device would have integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, play digital media, and do everything you'd expect from today's full-sized tablet PCs. The gadget is sort of the “dream device” that Microsoft is pushing toward–a super-portable handheld that weighs around two pounds, has an all-day battery life, and costs between $500 and $800. While the device may never actually see the light of day, it's a great sign of things to come.

If something like this product really becomes available, then you had better believe that I will be one of the first people lined up to get one! Can you say “gadget lust”?
