Fitbit has added a new device to their line of wearable fitness trackers, the Flex. The Flex is a waterproof fitness monitoring device designed to not only track your basic fitness functions (steps, calories, distance traveled and active minutes), but it also tracks your hours slept and the quality of sleep through its own software. The Flex is compatible with iPhone 4S and higher, 3rd generation iPads, 5th generation iPod touches, PCs, Macs, and selected Android devices. The Flex wristband comes in 4 color choices: Slate (which looks bluish), Black, Teal, and Tangerine. The Flex ships with a small and a large wristband, a charging cable, and a wireless USB dongle. The Flex’s battery life is listed to last 5 to 7 days.  It’s scheduled to ship in the spring of 2013. The Flex is priced at $99.95 and can be preordered on the Fitbit website.
