Smartphone cameras are becoming better and better, and more people are using them to take photos and video. The smaller physical format of smartphones isn’t overly conducive as a camera however, and a new Kickstarter project attempts to address this. The Slingshot from professional photographer and design engineer Charles Waugh is a flexible frame that will fit most smartphones and a small tripod handle with a ballhead connection that gives you flexibility both as a stable tripod or while taking handheld shots. The frame can also be used to place your smartphone on a standard tripod as well.
