iPod dock goes retro… but with added DAB!

on March 24, 2010 3:29 pm

The guys over at Revo recently put their heads together and came up with this, the Revo Heritage Deluxe Table Radio.

There are many DAB radios on the market, but none look as good as this!  The solid walnut and aluminium casing gives it a real retro look and feel, but don’t be fooled.  It packs a sharp DAB radio (DAB, DAB+ FM and Wi-Fi Internet radio) for crystal clear music to waft out of the custom-designed 3” neodymium speaker driver, driven by a high fidelity 7W amplifier.

Not only this, it also functions as an iPod/iPhone dock and also allows wireless audio streaming via a Mac or PC.  And, you can even make the most of the composite video out connectors on the rear and view any iPod videos/slideshows on your TV!

The Heritage boasts a modern white-on-black, graphical OLED display which really compliments the overall design quite nicely.  There are 10 memory presets to save your favourite stations and it can be controlled by either remote control, or the cool on-board joystick!

It also comes with a free 30 day trial subscription to Last.fm. However, after this time if you’d like to continue using the service, then a £3.00 monthly subscription charge will apply.

The Revo Heritage is priced at £229.99 ($340 approx) from Firebox
