I don’t think people will spend average $200 for a case and mount on a ~$200 netbook.

As the owner and creator of Minimount, what makes our system unique (and worth the price) is that the MINIMOUNT has the potential to secure inexpensive, netbook computers in environments which have previously been “off-limits” or simply impractical. One must look at the complete package to assess value. Perhaps not for everyone, but for those with a need or desire to mount a netbook, or protect one with a cool rugged enclosure, we have MINIMOUNT. This is a far more affordable option for durability and on the job usage than a Toughbook or any other truly rugged solution.
