Scholastic Books have released reading app and ebookstore for children. The Storia app is available for Windows and for iPad, and it comes with five free ebooks and access to the Scholastic ebook store. Books have been carefully curated into age-appropriate groups, so you’ll know what’s right for your child. Storia has a built-in dictionary to define and pronounce words the child highlights, and some titles are Enriched eBooks with activities to help develop reading confidence and critical thinking skills. You can monitor your child’s progress through a book and see how many pages they read, how many new words they learned, and how long they spent reading each day. If your child’s teacher participates in Scholastic Book Clubs, your Storia ebook purchases will earn rewards for the teacher. Both the iPad app and the Windows apps are free, and they are available now.
