NEWS – Last week, I posted an article and video where I talked about and tested four different EDC fingernail clippers. Of course, as soon as that post was published, I started seeing a bunch of other interesting clippers in my web travels. Here’s just one of them. It’s the EDJY fingernail cutter. What makes it special and unique? Unlike traditional fingernail clippers, this one only has one blade. They say that these clippers cut instead of crushing your nails. They also say that the clipped nails don’t fly away. Interested? You can get one for $16.50 or a pack of two for $30 directly from EDJY.

Thanks Julie…useful and ordered 2 of them!
Great! Please let me know if it’s any good once you get a chance to try it out.

Unique is by definition singular. There can not be a ‘most unique’.
Just being pedantic 🙂
Maybe I should have said that is 101% more interesting than most clippers? 😉

I ordered one, received it, my thoughts after first use, I am male. I find it better than the traditional “double blade” fingernail clippers (does smooth cuts along middle part of the nails), however, no improvement in smooth cutting the corners. I still have to smooth out the corners section of the nails with a nail file after cutting the corners with this clipper. (I’ve never been able to find a nail clipper that smooth cuts my nail corners. Perhaps the corners would cut smoother if I chose to leave my nails longer? I prefer to clip my nails short.)
I did not experience any nail flyaway, which is good. The cuttings do stay inside.
I applaud that EDJY found a way to re-design nail clippers with a different concept of one blade versus two, and I would rate these 4 out of 5 stars, and I intend to continue to use these as my fingernail clippers. And thank you, Julie, for informing everyone this product.
Thank you for letting us all know how they worked for you. 🙂
Do you use them for your EDC, or do you just leave them at home? I’m wondering how bulky they are to carry around.

You’re welcome. For me personally, it’s too big for everyday carry. I only will leave at home. Sure, if a guy walked around with a fanny pack, it would be okay 🙂
Size is too big for EDC for men, in my opinion. Almost 3 inches long. 1 inch wide. 3/4 of an inch thick. For women, carrying it in a purse would be okay, of course.
