REVIEW – I have not reviewed many keyboards, but the few I have tested have made me a fan of Keychron keyboards. I recently reviewed the Keychron Q0 Max QMK Custom Number Pad and the Keychron Q10 Max (Alice Layout) mechanical keyboard. Since keyboards are not necessarily my favorite gear to review, I thought I was done with them for a while. Still, I was immediately interested when this Lemokey X3 QMK/VIA Wired Mechanical Keyboard was offered.

The Lemokey X3 is a full-size wired mechanical keyboard featuring QMK/VIA support, a 1000 Hz polling rate, gasket-mount structure, and shine-through keycaps.

Design and features

The Lemokey X3 QMK/VIA Wired Mechanical Keyboard is solidly built and while not heavy, feels solid. It features exchangeable keycaps and switches and selectable red backlighting. It is connected via the USB-C port on the back and a USB-C cable. It is customizable/programmable and features adjustable feet that change the angle of the keyboard.
Performance
The Lemokey X3 QMK/VIA Wired Mechanical Keyboard performs well, and I love the option to manipulate the red backlighting. The keys sound great and have a soft touch. While they are not completely quiet they are soft touch and quiet enough. I am not in the habit of changing keycaps or switches and that works for me since I love this keyboard the way it is right out of the box.
Software:
The software allows customization of the keyboard and assigned functions just as with the other Keychron keyboards that I have tested and reviewed. Here are some screenshots for the application:

Final thoughts
The Lemokey X3 QMK/VIA Wired Mechanical Keyboard is another great keyboard from Keychron, and it is perfect for my needs. I like the feel of the keyboard, the backlighting, and the overall look and feel. IMHO, this keyboard is another absolute winner all the way!! Well done!!
