Grilling season is nearly upon us, and here’s something that will free you from being chained to the grill. The Grill Alert thermometer has a wireless transmitter with a probe and a separate wireless LCD receiver you can hook on your belt. You simply insert the probe, select the type of meat and the desired degree of doneness on the receiver, and you’re free to roam within 300 feet of the grill. A voice will announce “Almost ready” and “Ready”, and there’s a graphical display showing cooking progress.
