REVIEW – Do you love using a water flosser to clean your teeth and wish you had a more portable water flosser to take with you when you travel? It’s your lucky day because that’s exactly what the Binicare Flosstra is. Let’s check it out.
What is it?
The Binicare Flosstra is a water flosser for traveling that has been designed in such a way that it breaks down into a small unit that is easy to pack in your suitcase when you travel.
What’s in the box?
- Binicare Flosstra travel water flosser
- Travel case
- 7 flossing / cleaning tips (2 Standard tips, Periodontal tip, Orthondonic tip, Nasal Cleaning tip, Tongue Cleaner tip)
- Drawstring bag for tips
- USB-C charging cable
- Manual
Design and features
The Binicare Flosstra travel water flosser comes in black, pink, and purple (I have the black version) and packs down into a 6.25 inch tall cylinder.
The outer cylinder unscrews from the main unit. This is the reservoir that holds the water.
There are two buttons on the side of the Binicare Flosstra portable water flosser. The power button and the mode button. The power button toggles power on and off and the mode button switches between normal, soft, pulse, and DIY modes.
Each mode has a different PSI level for the strength of the water pressure.
Normal = 120psi
Soft = 30psi
Pulse = 80psi
DIY = 10-110psi
The bottom of the main unit has an extendable water tube.
The tube pulls out of the main unit and is inserted into the water reservoir.
The top of the Flosstra has a slot for the cleaning tip. It also has a storage area for 1 tip.
The storage slot will only accommodate the Standard Jet tips, Periodontal tip, or the Orthodontics tip.
There’s a release button at the top of the Binicare Flosstra travel water flosser that unlocks the tip so you can remove it from the unit.
At the bottom is a USB-C charging port.
To use the Binicare Flosstra water flosser, you unscrew the water reservoir cup from the main unit, extend the water tube from the bottom of the unit, fill the water reservoir cup to the max line, and screw it to the bottom of the main unit.
Then you can snap your favorite cleaning tip into the slot on the top of the main unit.
Here is the portable water flosser fully set up and ready for a cleaning session.
Note that the Binicare Flosstra will run for 2 minutes and will then turn off automatically.

How does this compare to the Phylian that you reviewed on Oct 14, 2021?
John, The Binicare is larger but otherwise, it does the same job as the Phylian. I like that this one comes with so many tips but honestly, I only use the standard tip.
