Are you one of the millions of people who use a wireless camera to keep an eye on your home and property when you can’t physically be there? How did you decide which camera to buy when there are so many on the market to choose from? I’ve lost count of all the security cameras that I’ve reviewed over the years, but I do know that there’s a feature that I always look for when it comes to the cameras that I use in my home. I prefer to use cameras that have a wide viewing angle. Without this feature, it’s difficult to see enough area to make sure everything is safe and sound. D-Link has just announced the DCS-8200LH, a new addition to their mydlink connected home series of WiFi cameras. The DCS-8200LH has a 180-Degree 720p wide angle low distortion view that will allow you to see significantly more area than most cameras on the market. This camera also has a microSD card slot for local recording and it can be connected with other D-Link sensors and IFTTT to create a home brew security system. The HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8200LH) will be available in July for $139.99. For more info visit Dlink.com

Wonder if there’s any monthly service fees?
I’m not finding any information on their site. Their myDlink service appears to be free but I don’t know what it actually gives you.
