With the Jetboil Flash Cooking System Java Kit, you can have fresh coffee when you’re camping, riding out the power outages in the aftermath of a storm, or while trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. With each 100g Jetpower canister, you’ll be able to brew 12 liters of coffee in the FluxRing cooking cup with insulating cozy (one liter at a time). A liter of coffee is more than enough to share with others, unless you have a powerful need for caffeine. The burner has a push-button igniter, and the cup has a Flash color-change heat indicator window, a drink-through lid, and a measuring cup that also serves as an insulating bottom for the cooking cup. The Jetpower canister also has a stabilizing tripod so you don’t spill your precious brew. When you’re ready to move on, everything packs up into the cup for compact storage. The Jetboil Flash Cooking System Java Kit is $99.99 at ThinkGeek. There’s a limit of one per customer.

Because 99.99% of the time I want coffee, I am on a South Pole expedition.
I would be tempted to keep a Jetboil in the closet just in case of a power outage.
This would be too big for backpacking. For $99, get the coleman propane one. We have it. I’m not a coffee drinker, but my wife is. And so is her entire family. It’s very popular at camp.

It’s bigger, yes. But cheaper (in the $60 dollar range most places with a glass carafe and in the $80 range for SS).
I’m not sure how I missed this in March, but I can tell everyone these things
are a big cup of awesome. Coupled with the titanium cooking system
it’s a whole kitchen and very light and compact.
Perhaps too much for austere backpacking, but for any other use, such as
on my motorcycle, which is where it’s normally stored, it rocks!
