The Lyrix Jive speaker is a portable Bluetooth speaker. Like many small, portable speakers, it can also serve as a speakerphone for handsfree calling. It uses Bluetooth 4.0 and has the AVRCP audio/video remote control profile. All this probably sounds pretty familiar to you, but the Jive does have some unique features. It has a suction cup base, so you can stick it to a car window, your desk, gym locker, or your tablet’s back and use it as a stand. It’s also completely waterproof, so you can even mount it on your shower wall. It has a 500mAh rechargeable battery that provides you with 4 hours of use between charges. It’s available in black, orange, purple, blue, or green. It’s available for purchase for $39.95 from Digital Treasures.
This little Bluetooth speaker goes anywhere you go – even into the shower

My bathroom is clean — but the thought of sticking something to my ipad after it’s stuck to something in the bathroom just is *not* appealing to me…
This is cool. The waterproof property gives it a lot of outdoor functionality as well…as long as the sound is good that is.
