If you’re looking to join the upcycle movement and make sure your cookies and milk don’t turn into soggy cookie soup before you can enjoy them, you need to check out the Cuppow BNTO canning jar lunchbox adapter. It’s a 6 oz BPA, BPS and phthalate free food-grade recycled plastic cup that fits into a wide mouth canning jar. Fill the bottom of the jar with one food item and the BNTO with another. The canning jar’s screw top lid seals the BNTO closed preventing the two food items from touching. The Cuppow BNTO (ben-toh) is a play on traditional Japanese bento boxes which are designed to compartmentalize your lunch ingredients for easy transport. You don’t have to go all the way to Japan to find a BNTO though. It’s made here in the USA for $7.99 each. Yeah that’s what I thought… that’s crazy expensive for a single small plastic cup. But I like the concept. Although I also wish it were made of glass.

For the last 5yrs I’ve been carrying this: http://www.amazon.com/Zojirushi-SL-JAE14SA-Bento-Stainless-Silver/dp/B000246GSE/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1376425632&sr=8-6&keywords=bento
More expensive but works great, if you’re looking for a Bento Box solution.
@Phreqd I’d use that if the bowls were steel or glass.
