If you are like me, you are always looking for ways to be a good steward to Mother Earth. One way I do this is by using a water bottle instead of buying bottled water. The issue I have with most water bottles (and bottled waters for that matter) is that they don’t keep my water cold for very long and tend to sweat. The Summit AUTOSEAL Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle from AVEX is one solution to that problem. This water bottle features:
- Insulated stainless steel to keep beverages cold for up to 20 hours
- AUTOSEAL technology for 100% spill-proof and leak-proof performance
- Made of 100% FDA approved, BPA-free materials
- Top rack dishwasher safe
- Spout guard
- 20 0z. capacity
- Fits most exercise and car cup holders
- Three color choices available
With a regular price of $24.99 (currently on sale for $14.99 on the AVEX website), this could be a great addition to your daily activities. The Summit AUTOSEAL Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle is available at the AVEX website as well as various online outlets.

I have an EXCELLENT Intak water bottle, 100% leakproof plus just as important, a large mouth. I’ve been trying to find something similar that will do hot liquids like coffee. I have one of the older Contigo mug that was 100% leakproof for a few years but now it leaks and I really didn’t like the small mouth. I don’t know if there is a thing, reason is that manufacturers might think smaller spout keeps the heat in longer.
@Lap I have several of these on order and will be doing a review of them. I could not find many pictures of this water bottle on the net, so I will be doing a lot of them in my post. I am not sure if hot liquids are recommended for this product, as for the large mouth I am looking forward to what the size is as well.
@Larry Geisz, I’ve seen this water bottle at Target. I recall I didn’t like the small spout. I like to gulp. There was a review with about 7 water bottles just a day ago on my RSS reader. There were some good unique bottles like Nissan, Contigo, etc. Believe it had the Summit. But I can’t find the link. I will tell you one thing, the Intak has the right idea with its leakproof method. Silicone to plug the opening really does make it 100% leakproof.
I found this review, http://timminer.com/review/avex-stainless-steel-water-bottle. It seems the Avex has the “straw” for sipping like a Camelbak. That’s the worst. Pretty sure it’s for only cold liquids.
It looks like Avex has both, straw and no straw ones (in Tim’s review the no straw is the Autoseal one), the other one Autospout has the straw. I like no straw like the Summit much better too.
My order of these just arrived so I can give some further insight.
@Lap the opening for this bottle is small and you cannot do hot liquids in it.
@Lap & MK this model does not have the straw to it.
Look for a review on this product in the coming weeks.
Is this the kind that shoots hot coffee onto your tongue if you suck on the spout?
@John Kes this water bottle is not recommended for hot liquids and has a pour type opening not a straw or suck type…
Cold water on my tongue is much better than hot coffee. Contigo advertises their stainless bottles for hot drinks. Gotta watch out for that.
