photojojo iphone strapI read recently that the little wrist strap was added to the newest version of the iPod touch to make it easier/safer to use as a camera.  I think more people probably use an iPhone as a camera, so where’s the optional wrist strap for them?  Photojojo has it, at least for the iPhone 4/4S and the iPhone 5.  You simply unscrew the two screws beside the charging port, then screw the aluminum bracket into place.  The bracket even works with some cases.  The straps are made of vegetable-tanned leather and are available in blue, red, or brown.  You’ll receive a screwdriver and some longer screws to attach the plate.  The iPhone Wrist Strap is $35 for either the iPhone 4/4S style or the iPhone 5 style.

  2. This comes close to what I need for skiing. I’ve used the Kenu Highline which works great with the 30 pin dock connector. the Highline is a bungee that locks into the dock connector. it was great for insuring that I dodn’t drop my phone from a chairlift. Imagine how fast an iPhone will move if dropped on snow covered ski trail! Now I’m searching for a great solution for the iPhone5.

  3. If you use a case for your iPhone (and I observe that most people do around here), you could just attach a lanyard to the case, although you might need to poke a hole in it. Cost : $2 for the lanyard, case is already paid for.
