If you are a cook who likes to use a tablet to access recipes and food prep videos while whipping up your culinary delights, you should check into the Belkin Kitchen Cabinet Mount. Instead of taking up valuable work space on a kitchen counter like some tablet stands, this mount attaches to an existing overhead cabinet or shellf. It requires no tools and can securely accommodate a 7″ – 10″ tablet. Just open the door on a cabinet, slide it in and adjust the clamp. That’s it. When you’re done it can be removed just as easily. The Belkin Kitchen Cabinet Mount is priced at $49.99 and is available now.

Looks like a nice mount. However, I think the problem is with the positioning of the mount. I have something similar to hold cookbooks, but mounting it this way not only make it too low, but blocks some of the counter space. I wish there was a mount that can be used right on the cabinet doors, so it doesn’t take up space and is at eye level. I realize that cabinet doors are all different, and that makes building a universal mount difficult.
I bought one of these last year for our kitchen, it’s not very sturdy or stable. Trying to do anything except reading from the tablet, like typing or scrolling, makes me feel like the tablet could fall. Not worth $50, maybe $19.99 tops.
I had too return twice and gave up. The screw that closes the clamp for the shelf broke twice.
