REVIEW – My kids are always stealing my headphones. So I thought that if I got some for them, maybe I could have mine back. The iClever Auraa headphones for kids have active noise cancelling, LED lights, Bluetooth, and microphone. I might just have to keep these for myself.

Design and features

When I sit down at my computer, I usually have at least one other person in the room. This makes playing music or shows a little tricky.  I can’t just play what I want through the speakers. Well, I could, if I didn’t care about the other person. However, it is so much easier to listen to anything if you are able to block out all the distractions. Headphones are the most comfortable and easiest to use.

These headphones are amazing. I was honestly surprised by the quality of this product. There are so many different features that it comes with. Bluetooth is easy to connect to any of my devices. I was sent both the red and the purple version of these headphones, and when I go to connect them, they are labeled the same thing. I was able to rename them, but it did get confusing at first. I would try to turn on one of the headphones, but the other one had already connected. So if you’re getting more than one, be prepared to rename the Bluetooth if you are connecting to the same device.

My five year old daughter fell in love at first sight. I don’t think she would’ve minded anything these headphones did, they were so cute that she just needed them. They did a really good job with the colors and designs.

The battery life of these headphones is supposed to last up to 47 hours. My daughter put these on and listened to Disney songs for hours! She was playing on the trampoline, swings, and even cleaned her room. I would forget that she was connected to my phone, and would start to play something else when she would get mad at me and I had to switch back to her music. I wish these headphones had a sleep mode though. They do not turn off ever, unless the battery dies or you push the power button. Another thing is that you can’t listen to anything while these are charging, but you do have the option of plugging in an auxiliary cable and battery doesn’t need to be charged to still hear what is playing.

There are four buttons on the headphones. Power, volume up, volume down, and the ANC button. When you turn on the headphones a child-like girl voice says “hello! iClever” and if you are connected. The voice isn’t great to listen to, but you really only hear it once in a while. When you turn the ANC on or off is probably the one you’ll hear the most.

When I first pulled the headphones out of their packages i was a little worried. These headphones fold up, and the squishy part that goes around your ears was pretty mashed up. Thankfully time was all that was needed to bring some life back into the ear muffs. I know it says for kids, but these ear muffs fit great around my ears also. They are very comfortable, and fit my head just fine.

There are a lot of good ways that these headphones can be used, especially with the ability to have noise cancellation. My family doesn’t travel much,  but when we fly we have the kids wear headphones and chew some gum to help their ears adjust to the altitude. These headphones also have a max volume level that is safer for little eardrums. It will only go up to 80 dBA, but sounds great, and is still plenty loud. Life with little kids is not easy, and iClever knows that. They made sure these headphones are durable, twisty, and drop proof. They can take a beating and keep on playing. We haven’t had any issues with them yet.

These headphones also have a microphone. I made some calls with them on, and the person on the other end had no problems hearing me, and they also came through very clear. For kid headphones, these really are loaded with all the fun things.

Final thoughts

These headphones say they are meant for children, but I love them. They are comfortable, and sound better than a lot of other options. Battery life is good, just remember to power them down after you are done or the battery will die a lot faster. There is no sleep mode. I love the ANC you get with the price you pay. I am keeping one for myself.
