CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Today, I have some Kickstarter campaigns for people who are interested in desk tools, pocket tools, and hydration tools. Let’s check them out!
NocFree Lite Split Keyboard
What is it?
The NocFree Lite is a 60% sized split-style wireless mechanical keyboard.
Why do I like it?
I like the NocFree Lite because of its compact size. I’ve always wanted to try a split-style keyboard but most of the ones that I’ve seen or have been offered have been too large and ugly. The NocFree Lite is a 60% size keyboard so it won’t take up much room on your desk. I also love the fact that there isn’t a wire connecting both halves of the keyboard. It’s wireless. And of course, the NocFree is a mechanical keyboard, so you can add your favorite switches! They are supposed to send me one to review, so stay tuned for that in the coming weeks!
Where can I find more info?
The NocFree Lite campaign ends on 12/31/23 and they are working towards their funding goal of $16,294. You can pre-order a NocFree Lite starting at $148. After the NocFree Lite campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in March 2024. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
TiSpanner
What is it?
The TiSpanner is a compact titanium multitool that features a spanner (or what we call a wrench here in the US), bottle opener, wolfram attacking head, nail puller, and a caliper.
Why do I like it?
I like the TiSpanner because it’s adorable. I know that’s a dumb reason to buy a tool, but come on, look at it! I don’t know if I’d actually find an EDC use for it or just add it to a collection of titanium multi-tools.

The TiSpanner campaign ends on 12/26/23, and they have already more than met their funding goal of $6,748. You can pre-order a TiSpanner starting at $69. After the TiSpanner campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in January 2024. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
Vitaloop
What is it?
Vitaloop is a water bottle that filters water from lakes, ponds, streams, or the tap safer to drink.
Why do I like it?
I like the Vitaloop because it will let you make great tasting water in 45 seconds from any source using a built-in 5-stage filter system that you can activate with just a press of a button. I think it would be a great bottle for campers and hikers. Each filter will let you clear up to 150 liters of water (depending on the water source) before it needs to be replaced.

The Vitaloop campaign ends on 12/06/23 and they have surprassed their funding goal of $5,000. You can pre-order a Vitaloop starting at $89. After the Vitaloop campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in December 2023. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

I looked at the Ti spanner. Over $60? You’ve got to be INSANE! The fact that you even listed it here makes me question your value judgement. Heck, if you’re willing to send $70 for something you’d just throw in a drawer…. I think that says it all right there.
