REVIEW – (This item was initially received for review before the summer of 2023. Read on to find out how things went). Summer in NY is around the corner and cleaning my yard for the season is getting into full swing. For some reason, my driveway and some parts of the siding on my house got dirty this past winter. I need a capable high-pressure power washer to take care of these cleaning tasks and more. Enter the Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer.
What is it?
The Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer is a 7.0HP 212CC Gasline Power Washer that is capable of 2.8GPM. It comes with 5 Adjustable Nozzles, a detergent bottle, and a 1-gallon fuel tank.

Design and features

The Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer Is designed like a conventional Pressure Washer with a motor on a frame with wheels. The gas tank is on the top and the oil fill is on one side and the dipstick is on the other. The ON/Off switch is on the side and the choke and fuel switch are on the front. There is a mount on the back for the soap reservoir and on the side of the frame for the wand. There is also a system to hold the nozzles mounted near the top of the frame.
Assembly
The Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer comes with all of the tools that you need for assembly and maintenance. Assembling the machine is quite easy. The following are snapshots from my assembly process:
Performance
Once assembled, this Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer is ready to rock n roll. Connecting the hoses is easy and it starts easily. The nozzles allow you to choose the degree of spray that you want and the soap nozzle allows you to use the soap dispenser to add soap/detergent to your cleaning process. Here is a video of my first test with this pressure washer:
Shortly after I shot that video and continued to use the pressure washer, one of the wheels fell off.
The vendor was very responsive and provided a replacement Power Washer within a few days.
When the Power Washer arrived, and I opened it to set it up, parts were missing for one side of the wheel assembly.
Once again, the vendor was great with support and sent two complete wheel assembly kits.
Once the new wheel kits arrived, I assembled the new Power Washer and it started immediately. At that point, I chose part of my driveway as a test sample:

As I continued the pressure washing shown above, the Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer shut off. Over the past two weeks, I have tried several times to start it without success. So it is now a boat anchor.
What I like
- The pressure is very good. Quite powerful
- Easy to assemble
- Good quality pressure hose
- Tools are included
What I’d change
- The assembly instructions could be better
- Tools are included but no funnel in the set. It is just about impossible to pour oil in without a funnel with a hose.
- Quality Control!! Quality Control!! Quality Control!!
Final thoughts
The Teande 4200PSI Gas Pressure Washer is a powerful pressure washer that has a nice size fuel tank so that it can run for a while. Assembly is easy and overall it feels very sturdy. The pressure hose also feels like a quality hose. I am not sure it completely lives up to the 4200 psi, but as previously mentioned, it is quite powerful. The big issue is the quality control. Between the wheel falling off, the second machine arriving with parts from the wheels missing, and then ceasing to work during its first use, I would say BUYER BEWARE!!!
Price: Not sure because the link they sent for Amazon is not the same unit that they sent to us…

I love gas pressure washers because they can be very powerful and make things like cleaning cement easy. However, they can also be very finicky and hard to maintain. I use a pressure washer maybe 3 to 4 times a year. A lot of times, only once or twice. You need to try to get ethanol-free gas for them. Small engines like those used for the pressure washers and yard equipment don’t like the ethanol. Then, due to the washer sitting for long periods, you must run all the gas out of it every time. Then, there is the spark plug and carburetor to maintain. I bought a new carburetor on my last gas pressure washer, and I still had difficulty getting it to start up. I stick with electric versions from now on.

It was ethanol-free gas. The washer stopped working while I was using it and so far I have not been able to get it to restart. I have 2 other washers from different manufacturers and no such problems.
Based on the other issues with this one, there is just no quality control.
Wow, for the price <$300 seems like a great price / item. However, I asked a simple question, where is the power washer manufactured and I can't get an answer. Also, is the supplier an e-commerce business again no answer.
It looks like Simpson or Craftsman is going to get my business unless someone will answer my basic questions.
